Neues Interview mit Kristen und Robert

Vale from Twilight Poison has sent us a translation of an interview that Rob & Kristen did with Tu Magazine, which you can read below! You can also see scans of the pages here on their site.
In a hotel in Beverly Hills, California we interviewed the actors of the
Twilight movie. We start our chat with the gorgeus Kristen Stewart who plays
Bella Swan
.
Do you like this kind of stories?
Actually, I?m not obsessed wih vampires, but I really liked this story.
How do you describe Bella?
She?s a strong character. It?s easy to relate to her and love her from the
start.

Did you meet with Stphenie Meyer?
She was very involved with the production of the movie, she checked the script
with Catherine and she loved it. She joined us while filming, but just for fun,
she never got too involved.

What was it like working with Robert?
It was really cool, he?s a great actor. In this movie he plays the ideal man. I
don?t think you can find a guy like that in real life, so it?s great, that?s why
I took the job (laughs).

Are you ready for the atention you?ll receive after this movie?
Maybe not. When you make a movie your life stops being private. But with this
movie the attention will focus on the story, not in me.

Have you felt the pressure with comments that
fans make on the internet?
Of course, people are very excited about this. I don?t know what will happen
after the release of the movie. People like the story, kids spend months reading
the books, they dedicate a lot of time to Twilight. I wouldn?t want to
disappoint anybody. I think the only thing that matters is that I?m very
commited to this project.

How different is your character in the movie from the character in the books?
Not much. We depend on what the book tells and what its characters go through.

You grew up in Los Angeles, California. How did you decide to become an
actress?
I started acting when I was 10 years old and I decided to grow up in this
industry.

Do you feel like you need to work on improving your performance?
When you go for a role many people will think you?re wrong for it despite the
fact that you feel like you?re perfect for it. There?s always going to be
something to
pick on.

Catherine, has talked about the passion young kids have for this story, would
you say your generation is more passionate than others?
It?s a universal thing, but I don?t think it?s exclusive to our generation.

Robert Pattinson made our jaws drop with the magnetism, sense of humour and
sweetness in which he spoke about role as the ?vampire in love?.
How did you get the role?
Someone sent me the script when I was in London. I read it and I thought I had
to film myself and send them the tape, but that was silly. I had to go to Los
Angeles, and there?s where I met Kristen. I auditioned for the role with her and
three days later I got the job.

Your character is very different from whay he see in the typical love stories,
did you know that?
Yes, and it?s okay to be different. This is a love story that shows that things
are not impossible. If you love someone, you can beat any obstacle.

To do anything out of love is the most important message of this story.
Do you think you have anything in common with your character? Do you like
vampires?
No. I?m nothing like Edward, at all. And I prefer dogs instead of vampires.
In you previous movie you were not involved in the promotion as much as you are
now.
I was more interested in dating back then. I?m more responsable with Twilight
now.

Why do you think directors like British men for romantic and classic roles?
What is it about British men?
I don?t know, it?s so weird. In this movie Edward is a total American because
of his characteristics. Edward is an all American guy with a very traditional
upbringing. That?s what it says in the book, but he?s not that typical if we
analyze the way his character developes thorugh out the story.

How do you define this movie?
I don?t think it?s a vampire movie. It?s a love story. It?s about a
disturbed
guy and the girl who loves him and who doesn?t care about the life he?s living.
She just loves him. The vampire theme is just a way to tell the story.

People call you the new Jude Law. They?ve been comparing your work and style
with this fellow Brit. What do you think about it?
I guess if people say this it?s just because I?m British.

Did you use stunt doubles for your action sequences?
Yes, I had to because of my constitution. Stunt doubles are tall and lean and
they can run really fast. With their help my character looks better. When I saw
them at work I was shocked.

Did you use body doubles for your love scenes too?
No, I did do those on my own (laughs). Those scenes were very sweet, I enjoyed
them.

Kristen said you were an excellent kisser.
She did? Wow!
